Copenhagen – Denmark, March 03, 2022: EPOS and Lenovo partner to deliver an intelligent collaboration solution for Microsoft Teams Rooms, meeting the increased demand for better and more dynamic meeting room tools. Lenovo’s smart collaboration product portfolio, complemented by EPOS’s groundbreaking intelligent speaker, provides businesses with a turnkey solution that enriches hybrid and remote collaboration by creating a feeling of inclusiveness, as transcription allows remote participants to follow who said what in the meeting room. The EXPAND Capture 5 is certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms and comes with a 7-beamforming microphone array and Cortana voice assistant. With its ability to recognize up to 10 in-room participants by their voice, it automatically transcribes live meeting feeds for safe and secure storage on Microsoft Office 365 cloud. Microsoft Software for EXPAND Capture 5 will be usable by European companies that use English in the language settings. Soon, it will also work with major languages that are supported in Teams. The two smart bundles from EPOS and Lenovo will be available for purchase in EMEA at the end of March, 2022.

Bundle 1 features the ThinkSmart™ Hub + EXPAND Capture 5. ThinkSmart Hub is an all-in one, smart room device from Lenovo that takes the effort out of collaboration and works across a variety of business setups. The combination of ThinkSmart Hub, ThinkSmart Cam, and EXPAND Capture 5 provides a one-stop meeting room solution for dynamic collaboration.

Bundle 2 features the ThinkSmart Core + EPOS Capture 5. ThinkSmart Core is a computing device powered by 11th Gen Intel® Core™ vPro® processors with Intel® Iris® Xe graphics, and certified for Microsoft Teams. The combination of the ThinkSmart Core and the EXPAND Capture 5 delivers all the benefits of an intelligent speaker, while providing controller display, premier support, and Lenovo’s ThinkSmart Manager Premium software for remote manageability, deployment, and more.
