ADAPT E1 - Updating the firmware
Keep your earbuds up-to-date with the latest firmware to ensure flawless operation and maximum productivity. You can update the firmware of your earbuds by using the free EPOS Connect desktop, web or mobile app.
NOTE: Check that the device has more than 50% battery life left. The update won’t start on a lower battery level.
Updating the firmware via EPOS Connect desktop app
- Download the EPOS Connect desktop app from this webpage: eposaudio.com/software/epos-connect
- Connect the E1 Charge Case to your PC with a USB-cable.
- Insert the dongle into your PC.
- Dock both earbuds to the charge case. Keep the lid open. The earbuds connect to the dongle. Once the connection is established, the dongle LED lights up white.
- Start the EPOS Connect desktop app on your PC.
- When you connect the products to the desktop app for the first time, it can take up to 15 minutes before the available firmware update is shown. If there is a new firmware available, the software will indicate a new version in the “Update overview” tab.
- Update the Charge Case first by pressing on the download arrow. After the update has completed, update the dongle and the earbuds.
Updating the firmware via EPOS Connect web app
- Connect the E1 Charge Case to your PC with a USB-cable.
- Insert the dongle into your PC.
- Dock both earbuds to the charge case and keep the lid open. The earbuds connect to the dongle. Once the connection is established, the dongle LED lights up white.
- Open your web browser and go to eposconnect.enterprise.eposaudio.com to open up the EPOS Connect Web app.
- Click the "Add device" button and choose the devices.
- If there is a new firmware available, it will be shown in the "Updates Overview" section.
- Update the Charge Case first. After the update has completed, update the dongle and the earbuds.
Updating the firmware via EPOS Connect mobile app
NOTE: With the mobile app you can only update the earbuds. If your dongle and charge case also require an update, please use either the EPOS Connect desktop or web app.
- Dock both earbuds to the charge case. Keep the lid open. Wait until they connect to your mobile device.
- Start the EPOS Connect mobile app on your connected mobile device. If there is a new firmware available, the software will guide you through the update process.
