GSP 500/GSP 600 - Small Hiss when no Audio is playing

If you turn the volume on your headset all the way up, some customers will hear a small hiss. This is what we call the noise floor, and is related to the device you use, and its theoretical maximum noise floor.

If this is at a level that becomes annoying for the customer, we recommend turning down on the volume knob on the headset, and turn up for the source device, e.g. PC, USB, DAC etc.

This will remove the whole dynamic range and in turn move the noise floor below the human threshold of around 2-3 dB. So, turn down your headset volume and turn up your application. This will remove the background noise floor which can be annoying.
