Announce Calls feature for the iPhone
The Announce Calls feature was introduced in iOS 10 for iPhone. When this feature is activated in the mobile phone, Siri announces the name of the caller for incoming calls in the headset, provided that the contact name has been saved to the phone’s contacts list.
In order to activate this feature, go to the iPhone settings:
Settings → Phone → Calls → Announce Calls
There are four different options to choose from:
- Always
- Headphones & Car
- Headphones Only
- Never
Activate the desired option, for example Headphones Only, if you want to get these voice notifications into your Bluetooth headset.
