IMPACT MB Pro - Pairing
Whenever pairing a headset, the first step is to place the headset into pairing mode. Once the headset is in pairing mode, you will need to follow the pairing steps for the end-device you wish to connect the headset to.
Placing the MB Pro into pairing mode
To place the MB Pro into pairing mode, first ensure the headset is off.
Next, press and hold the multifunction button for approximately six seconds, or until you hear the voice prompt "pairing".
The LED on the headset should now be alternately flashing red and blue, indicating that your MB Pro has successfully been placed into pairing mode.
Pairing the headset with a smartphone or other Bluetooth enabled device
Once you have confirmed that the headset is in pairing mode, you will need to complete the pairing process on the end-device you wish to connect to.
Within the device's menu, ensure that Bluetooth is enabled and then search for new Bluetooth devices. You should then be able to see all active devices in your vicinity.
Find and select your MB Pro. You may be prompted to enter a PIN - if this is the case, enter the default EPOS PIN "0000".
When pairing is successful, the LED on the headset will flash blue three times. If the LED instead flashes red three times, pairing has failed and the process should be repeated.
Pairing the headset with the BTD 800 dongle
Once you have confirmed that the headset is in pairing mode, you will need to place the dongle itself into pairing mode as well.
To do so, ensure that the dongle is inserted and then press and hold the button for approximately three seconds, or until the LED begins to alternately flash red and blue.
After placing both devices into pairing mode, they should then pair with one another. When pairing is successful, the LED on both the headset and the dongle will flash blue three times. If the LED flashes red three times, pairing has failed and the process should be repeated.
