Why Do Birds
Alexander Wodrich, Managing Director
Alexander Wodrich is managing director and founder of why do birds, an agency for audio branding, motion branding and service design. His work has won several awards. He regularly appears as a speaker at universities and congresses on the subject of branding and sound. In 2010 Alexander curated the sound exhibition "Oggetti Sonori" in the Museum August Kestner, Hannover. In his spare time he is a passionate musician: he has played more than 100 concerts with his bands and recorded several records.
Anita Caras, Insights Director
Anita Caras is responsible for leading a team of high performing insight professionals across the Globe. Under her direction, the team are responsible for delivering consumer insights and data assets that generate demand, support non-US revenue commitments and help build Verizon Media brand equity in the digital advertising space.
Passionate about brands and the possibilities that digital media offers, Anita is focused on driving understanding of digital media and the opportunities it creates via data driven dashboards and thought leadership pieces, which are distributed both internally and externally to agencies, advertisers and journalists Worldwide. She is also a strong advocate for inclusion and diversity in the media technology and marketing space; and is the company’s EMEA lead for the Womens Inclusion Network.
Anita’s 25+ years of media research experience have been drawn from roles both media owner and agency side. Before joining Verizon Media, Anita held roles at: AOL, Microsoft, ITV, MTV and ZenithOptimedia both in Australia and in the UK. Prior to this, Anita taught media production and journalistic skills to college children in Long Island, USA.

Community Noise Lab at the BUSPH
Dr. Erica Walker, Founder
Walker earned a B.S. and B.A in both mathematics and economics from Simmons College; A MS in environmental economics and urban planning from Tufts University; and a ScD in environmental health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She was awarded a P50 Diversity Supplement from the NIH to work with the BU/Harvard Center for Research on Environmental and Social Stressors in Housing Across the Life Course (CRESSH). This work includes epidemiological analysis examining the relationship between sound levels and developmental delay within the Children’s HealthWatch cohort and developing a model of ambient to indoor sound infiltration within the CRESSH study area. She is the founder of Community Noise Lab. As founder of Community Noise Lab, she will continue and expand her sound and noise work specifically around a community-identified issues.
Jeffrey Saunders, CEO
Jeffrey Saunders is an expert in strategic futures studies and foresight with 18 years of experience in the foresight space.
He is CEO of Nordic Foresight and Associated Partner, Behavioural Strategy. He formerly served as Director, Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies, Chief Consultant and Head of SIGNAL Arkitekters Workplace Analytics team, and as an advisor at the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Stability Operations.
He has both strategic and practical experience in helping organizations translate strategic ambitions into workplace strategies.
He has authored many studies and articles on the future of work and the workplace for organizations around the world. The latest study is coming out at the end of September 2020 for the International Facility Management Association, The Expert Assessment: New Ways of Working Post-COVID-19.
Jeppe Dalberg-Larsen, President
Jeppe has headed Sennheiser Communications A/S for the last 15 years, and will also head EPOS in the future. He has driven an ambitious growth strategy in the CC&O and gaming market from the beginning, and over the past years led the company from a small new-bizz to a global player for enterprise solutions. With a background from Demant Group as CIO, he is an experienced tech-leader with profound knowledge in global IT development and business analysis. His more than 20 years in the audio industry make him one of the most influential Danish experts in the field.
Jesper Kock, VP Research and Development
As Vice President of R&D and part of the senior management team, Jesper is responsible for ensuring technological synergies are leveraged through strategic partnerships and new market and technology trends are addressed accordingly. He is also responsible for keeping the R&D organisation lean and efficient while growing new segments and headcounts. He has been Vice President of R&D for more than six years, and during this time he has achieved a number of successes including globally doubling the capacity of the division in four years and transforming the focus of R&D from hardware to software (over 70% of current new developments are software related.) Peter Ankerstjerne, Global Lead - FM & Experience Services at JLL and Chairman of the Board at IFMA
Peter Ankerstjerne, MBA, COP, FRICS, IFMA Fellow has more than 25 years’ experience covering most aspects of FM, Service Management, Outsourcing, Marketing and Strategy. For 24 years Ankerstjerne was employed by the ISS group, where he most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer. At ISS, Ankerstjerne was responsible for developing the Integrated Facility Services model, which is still a key focal point of the organization and now represents more than 40% of revenue. After a year as Head of Digital FM and Workplace Experience, EMEA, at Wework’s “Powered by We” business, he joined Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) on 1’st of April 2020 as Global Lead, FM & Employee
Ankerstjerne holds an MBA and bachelor’s degree in International Marketing Management from the Copenhagen Business School (CBS) in Denmark. He has served on several advisory boards, including the Advisory Board for International Business at CBS and the Strategic Advisory Board at the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP). He was part of establishing the IFMA Regional Advisory Boards. He is an active member of the IFMA WE Community, where he has been instrumental in establishing the WE Denmark hub.
Ankerstjerne is a former IFMA Foundation trustee and is actively involved in the industry as both a speaker and a debater. Apart from IFMA, he is also member of CoreNet, RICS and IAOP. In 2015, Ankerstjerne was appointed Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and in 2016 he was named IFMA Fellow. He joined IFMA in 2005 and has been on the Board of Directors since 2016. Since 1’st July ’20 he has been serving as the Chairman of the Board.

Philip is Founder and CEO of the UnGroup and Cordless Group.
He is an author, futurist and advisor on the new world of work and specialises in predicting the impact of emerging technology on the way we will work, shop, learn, consume leisure and live.

Before Ragnar Heil joined Quest as EMEA Channel Account Manager, he worked at Microsoft in several roles such as SharePoint Senior Consultant, Office 365 Customer Success Manager, and Partner Channel Lead for Office 365 E5. Microsoft has awarded him as MVP for Office Apps + Services. He has published several books and articles about New Work and is a founding member of Working Out Loud Community in Germany. His business focus is all about migrating customers to the Microsoft365 secure and compliant Hybrid Modern Workplace together with his partners.
